Guide
How Idlefell works
Trips
Pick a skill and an action, set how long to go for, and close the app. Your hero keeps going in real time, and when you come back you get one summary of the XP, items and level-ups. Every trip shows what it will earn before you start.
Stamina
Trips cost stamina: one point per minute of activity, with a minimum trip of 15 minutes. Stamina refills by one point every 4 real minutes, 360 a day. Your cap starts at 100 and rises by 5 for every Agility level.
Focus
Focus is a timer for real-life tasks: a walk, a workout, a chapter of a book. Every minute you stay off your phone earns 2 stamina, 8× what waiting gives. Runs last 5 to 120 minutes, and Focus can give up to 180 stamina a day. It never gives XP.
Tiers and tools
Content comes in five tiers that open at levels 1, 20, 40, 60, 80. Gathering needs a tool of at least the action's tier, and better tools work faster: a tier 1 to 5 tool takes 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60% of the base time.
Hotspots
4 times a day, for 60 minutes, a hotspot opens. Any trip started inside one earns +40% XP and items. Everyone shares the same hotspot times.
The market
Sell what you don't need and buy what you're short of. Prices drift over a couple of days and wobble every 4 hours, and every player sees the same prices. Buying is limited per item in each 4-hour window.
Combat
Fight in Melee, Ranged or Magic; your weapon sets the style. A round is 3 seconds. Hitting a monster with the style it's weak to gives +30% attack. Your hero eats food automatically when low. Dying ends the trip, but you keep your loot and get the unused stamina back.
Free and members
The free game is a complete loop to level 59: tiers 1 to 3 of every skill except Brewing, Bounty, Fletching, Farming. Membership unlocks tier 4 and up, the members skills, and the rest of each tier's monsters and gathering. Members content is marked Members across this wiki.
